Again, another price rise will occur. Brewcraft, (who distribute Brewcraft, Muntons,
Beermakers, Black Rock and Tooheys) have announced another Price rise which will
affect all of those brands, by @ 15-
Blackrock, Beermakers and Tooheys are purchased in NZ Dollars, which also helps account for their price rise.

Price Rise, again!
@ 2 months ago, Morgans, an Australian owned company, raised their prices slightly due to the drought, which forced prices up by less than 10%.
With great regret, today I received a pricelist from the other major Distributor, based in New Zealand, that the following brands will be increasing in price massively as a result of the drought. The one major exception seemed to be "Tooheys" which is made under license, which obviously is an indication of the quality ingredients used in the final product compared to others on the market.
Brands affected include:-
Cascade is currently unchanged.
Malt Shovel are no longer listed, and has been discontinued.
This will affect Retail prices on kit beers by @ 15-
This will no doubt affect powdered Malt, as well as our brew blends.
Here are a few links explaining why:-
On top of this I received a phone call @6pm from a homebrew store in the United states, asking if I could supply them with hops in bulk. His shelves are empty, and he was willing to fly out here and pick them up.
Please also note that Fosters raised their prices last year on commercial beer as a result of the drought in October last year.
Further to note, all Still Sprits Essences are also going up in price, as well as some other accessories they supply.
